Just want to thank everyone for making this such a great event. The wacky rally team, the other teams the bars that put up with us and the towns for being extremely welcoming.

All of us had an amazing event and made some amazing memories.

Also, apologies to "You don't vote for kings" for being sick on their flip flops....somebody kept making me down pints. (Also apologies to anyone else affected by this little mishap)

Goodbye and thank you all. Despite have random number of gears at various times we made it all the way and had an awesome time! The last night was carnage. Special thanks to the Tiki boys for being everyone's heroes, the guys in the non furred dog car for sharing their engine cooked steak and camembert and generally being awesome, the guys in the other dog car for being really nice chaps and offering to drive behind us when we had gear issues to help out if needed, the pirates for making us laugh a lot (especially the video of the cow challenge) and the person who threw up over my flip flops at the bar... you know who you are!

Hot stuff!!

Shaguar melting in the heat on the way to the scrappy! Quite a few queues when you come off the port turning into Barcelona so if you have air con then enjoy!!

Spanish Highway Air

Enjoying the view from the Spanish tollroad with the mountains, forests, and picturesque fields. The manure smell is ruining the effect though. Anyone else catching a whiff of that?

Also the Spanish toll cards are great! Prices, exits, and distances! Some other countries could stand to do that.

Leper car on the move

Our car has developed leprosy as we get closer to Barcelona. First the interior was peeling off and now near Perpignan the tachometer has decided to take a long siesta in preparation for Spain. Thankfully with an automatic on the highway we can live without it. Aside from being a snow globe of foam and adhesive in the highway breeze we're living large. Very envious of the Wades and their AC. Looking forward to ice cream.

Top Bananas nearly died again

These bloody drivers are seriously trying to ram us off the road. Had three more cut us up dangerously since this last update earlier. Why don't the French like Bananas?

In other news 4 police officers came over to us at the tolls after we beeped our horn. We were thinking we were about to be sent to jail to be fondled by french prisoners. Nah, they just want to know where we were going. That was lucky.

We were just millimetres away from being side swiped by one of those really good French drivers on the motorway. Evasive action was taken and everything all good! Bit of a squeaky bum moment.

High fives to teams pikachuu and zombie rape squad for the awesome drive down to Monte-Carlo. Brakes and tyres pretty much on fire when we arrived in monte-Carlo only to find the local Joel roubechon Michelin restaurant was closed!
Epic drive on to Arles fellas - you drove it like you stole it :)

Right street wrong town!.

We thought we would rely on sat nav to make sure we got to the football on time... our satvav took us to the right street but in a different town so we are still 90 mins from Arles! See you all for the second half!

Well. WTF. Struggled through to Arles with only 3rd and 4th. Planned to park up at mc donalds and sort out scrapping in the morning. 3 miles out the gears and clutch returned as if nothing ever happened. Arghhhhhh!
